FILMELANGE introduces “ROY,” a turtleneck T-shirt crafted from exceptionally soft fabric for lasting comfort.
The fabric is made from a custom-blended yarn of carefully selected organic cotton sourced from around the world, slowly knitted on a low-speed knitting machine into a soft rib-knit fabric. Its plush texture and excellent stretch allow it to gently conform to the body for a comfortable fit.
This season, a deep charcoal khaki joins the lineup. Its subtle, nuanced tone adds a natural touch of variation to autumn and winter outfits while remaining easy to style.
With its clean silhouette, it works beautifully on its own in early autumn and layers effortlessly under shirts, knitwear, and jackets as temperatures drop. Thoughtful details such as the seamless tubular construction without side seams ensure comfort even when worn directly against the skin, making it a dependable layering piece for everyday wear.

Founded in 2007, FILMELANGE is a cut-and-sew brand dedicated to meticulous in-house development at every stage, from selecting its raw cotton to developing the yarn and fabric and handling the sewing process. Committed to manufacturing in Japan, the brand also works to nurture the next generation of skilled artisans at its own factory.

The fabric is made from a custom yarn created from a blend of carefully selected organic cotton sourced from around the world. It is slowly knitted on low-speed machines, allowing the natural character of the fibers to be preserved while gradually developing a soft, full-bodied texture.
The fabric is a highly stretchable rib-knit construction that moves smoothly with the body and gently wraps around the skin. With a balanced weight that is neither too thin nor too heavy, it works beautifully both on its own and as a base layer throughout autumn and winter.
A longer turtleneck for versatile styling
The neck is designed slightly longer, allowing you to wear it gently gathered for a relaxed, textured look or fold it over for a clean, high-neck appearance. The versatile design can be styled to suit different outfits and layering combinations.
The body features seamless tubular construction, with no side seams. This helps reduce bulk and irritation from seam allowances against the skin, providing a comfortable feel both when worn directly against the body and as a base layer.
The sleeves are slightly shorter, sitting just above the wrist. This helps prevent excess fabric from gathering around the wrists and allows the cuffs to sit neatly when layered under a jacket or cardigan.
