Launched in Japan by designer Hiroshi Nozawa, who has helped shape numerous brands since the 1980s, WFELD draws on his experiences in his native Osaka and the wider Kansai region. The name combines “Feld,” an old German word meaning field, with the “W” of words such as “Wherever” and “Whenever.” Created for “lifestyle artists” who move freely between city life, travel, and the outdoors, the brand brings together a hybrid sensibility and functional beauty. Backed by decades of experience, it offers refined everyday clothing with a spirit of freedom.
Authentic Denim with Stretch and Recovery
The lightweight hybrid denim combines cotton with SOLOTEX, a high-performance fiber developed by Teijin Frontier.
SOLOTEX fibers have a spring-like helical structure, giving them excellent stretch and shape recovery. They flex naturally with your movements and return toward their original shape after wear, helping reduce wrinkles and loss of shape.
With the natural character of conventional cotton denim, the fabric feels soft against the skin and light to wear. It brings together an authentic denim appearance and everyday ease.
Thoughtful Construction, Quietly Concealed
A concealed front placket keeps the buttons out of sight. This clean finish tempers denim's casual character, creating a refined look that pairs easily with shirts and jackets.
A slash pocket is integrated into the seams of the front placket. This considered construction adds storage without interrupting the design.
Double-welt pockets on both sides feature narrow edging for a clean opening. Strong cotton twine concealed inside provides careful reinforcement, extending the attention to detail to areas hidden from view.
A Fresh Layer for Everyday Dressing
