WILDTHINGS
Founded in 1981 by accomplished American mountaineers John Bouchard and Marie Meunier, WILDTHINGS draws on extensive experience in demanding mountain environments. Guided by the belief that gear must be light and tough, the brand creates high-quality products built for performance. Its functional cold-weather clothing and durable luggage have also been consistently adopted by the U.S. Army and Navy.







Durability with environmental consideration
The shell is made from CORDURA nylon, renowned for its durability. An environmentally conscious, fluorine-free CZEREX durable water-repellent treatment adds outstanding water repellency to the fabric's structured feel and toughness.

Water droplets roll off more readily than with conventional fluorine-based treatments, while wash durability is more than ten times greater. Clean in appearance, the fabric develops richer character with use.



CLIMASHIELD COMBAT, adopted by the U.S. military
The jacket features CLIMASHIELD COMBAT insulation, with a proven record of use by the U.S. military. Developed for demanding environments, from combat zones to harsh natural conditions, this lightweight, durable insulation maintains comfortable warmth throughout extended wear.

It also features AquaBan treatment, designed to improve moisture permeability while minimizing the impact of moisture on insulation. Used only in select CLIMASHIELD products, this technology provides excellent warmth and comfort even in wet or humid conditions.







True to its military roots
A moderately high stand collar helps keep cold air out. A hood stored inside the collar is easy to deploy, with a drawcord to adjust the fit when the weather takes an unexpected turn.



The front combines a hook-and-loop closure with a two-way zipper. Protective covers behind the zipper and at the top prevent cold metal hardware from coming into direct contact with your skin or inner layers. Brand embroidery behind the zipper reflects the attention given even to details that remain out of sight.



Patch panels on both arms recall the military practice of attaching patches to identify units and rank.

The abrasion-prone areas from the elbows to the cuffs receive additional treatment, with contrasting textures adding a subtle accent. These faithfully recreated details will appeal to those who appreciate authentic military design.



Elastic and hook-and-loop tabs at the cuffs allow you to adjust the fit and help keep cold air out.



Hand pockets on both sides comfortably accommodate even larger smartphones. Drawcords inside the pockets let you adjust the waist fit and silhouette with ease.



Two large interior mesh pockets provide space to warm cold gloves with body heat, as well as convenient storage for a face mask and other small essentials you want to keep within easy reach.



The hem is longer at the back, providing generous coverage over the hips to help retain warmth.





Generous proportions for comfortable winter layering
The relaxed, oversized silhouette leaves ample room for thick knitwear and midlayers. Authentic military details are balanced by a matte fabric with a rich texture, creating a refined urban appearance without feeling overly rugged.
