DESCENTE (DESCENTE / Mizusawa Down)
A Japanese sportswear brand specializing in the development and sale of performance apparel. Through its "ALLTERRAIN" collection, DESCENTE incorporates years of experience in the sports field into versatile designs suitable for a variety of situations.

A one-of-a-kind high-performance fabric
The outer fabric features "DERMIZAX," developed by Toray. This high-performance membrane achieves the highest levels of waterproofing, water resistance, breathability, and low condensation properties.
Combined with excellent 4-way stretch, a supple texture, and a marshmallow-like softness against the skin, it delivers an unparalleled wearing experience.
Another highlight is its advanced color reproduction capability, unique among waterproof breathable fabrics. Even black can be expressed with a deep, sophisticated matte finish.

+5°C warmth by converting light into heat
The lining features DESCENTE’s original active warmth system, "HEAT NAVI." By absorbing almost all wavelengths of light and converting them into heat, it delivers approximately +5°C greater warmth compared to conventional materials.
Not only on sunny days, but also by efficiently converting even small amounts of sunlight on cloudy days, it helps maintain comfortable warmth outdoors in various weather conditions.

The stitching points that were once considered a weakness of down jackets have been eliminated in Mizusawa Down through heat-bonded non-quilt construction. Areas that require sewing, such as the sleeves, feature seam tape processing on the reverse side to prevent water penetration and dramatically improve water resistance.

A certification that is kind to both birds and people
This jacket uses traceable 750FP French white duck down certified by "DOWNPASS."
This certification guarantees that the down has been ethically collected and produced according to animal welfare standards, while maintaining strict quality requirements.
※You can verify the certification by entering the code on the dedicated website. For this model, registration is completed in English, so please select "EN."

The "Para Hood System" allows the hood to be compactly stored, helping prevent water and snow from accumulating around the hood area. Water-resistant zippers are used in key areas to further improve protection.

The high-neck design prevents cold air from entering, while down insulation in the neck area helps maintain warmth. Details such as the inner rib jersey collar, double-layer cuffs, drawcords inside the side pockets, and powder skirt inside the hem enhance wind protection, warmth, and fit.

The "Dual Zip Ventilation" system on the front zipper uses two rows of zippers with mesh fabric between them, allowing fresh air to enter while releasing excess heat and moisture trapped inside the jacket.

"Pit Zip Ventilation" is also placed under the arms to further improve comfort.

Improvements in the 2025 model
Inner pockets have been added to both chest areas. A removable key chain has also been added to improve storage functionality.

The double cuffs have been updated with a design that provides a softer feel against the skin and improved fit.

Based on accumulated expertise and knowledge, the cutting pattern is carefully designed around human movement. The result is a stylish silhouette that maintains excellent mobility and comfort.
