Launched in Japan by designer Hiroshi Nozawa, who has helped shape numerous brands since the 1980s, WFELD draws on his experiences in his native Osaka and the wider Kansai region. The name combines “Feld,” an old German word meaning field, with the “W” of words such as “Wherever” and “Whenever.” Created for “lifestyle artists” who move freely between city life, travel, and the outdoors, the brand brings together a hybrid sensibility and functional beauty. Backed by decades of experience, it offers refined everyday clothing with a spirit of freedom.
Houndstooth Tweed with Classic Character
The fabric is a wool and nylon tweed. Its fine houndstooth pattern creates a subtle depth and character distinct from a plain weave.
Reinterpreted as a short shirt jacket, traditional tweed takes on a relaxed feel that fits naturally into everyday outfits.
