From original ink blending to hand dyeing and airbrushing, FREE RAGE embraces expressive techniques while remaining committed to Made-in-Japan production through collaborations with craftspeople across the country.

The body is made from recycled cotton, one of FREE RAGE’s signature materials. Its naturally uneven texture gives the fabric a distinctive character, even in its plain, unprinted state.

Soft against the skin and comfortable to wear, the fabric’s natural texture combines with FREE RAGE’s finishing techniques to create a rich, vintage-inspired depth that goes beyond a typical graphic T-shirt. Analog Depth Created Through Four-Color Process Printing
The front graphic uses a four-color process printing technique, layering CMYK inks to create the image. The distinctive texture of hand-pulled screen-printed ink and the grain of the halftone dots create a rich depth and character that digital printing simply cannot replicate.

Specially blended inks are also used to recreate the cracking and fading that naturally develop on prints over time. The faded character of the body blends seamlessly with the texture of the print, creating the look and feel of a vintage sweatshirt that has been worn and loved for years.









The neckline features a classic crew neck. A reinforced binder finish runs from the collar around the shoulders, helping the shape resist stretching even after repeated wear and washing while adding a visually rugged touch.





The sleeves and hem are finished with single stitching, a detail sure to appeal to vintage T-shirt enthusiasts. Every detail is carefully considered and meticulously crafted at a factory in Japan.
