For many years, these products were produced as a special order project for Japan Blue Jeans’ “ROCOCO” line, but in 2026, the brand relaunched as “Blue refabric.”
Production takes place primarily at Japan Blue’s partner factories. The brand name is a portmanteau of “Blue” (representing Japanese denim) and “Refabric” (a combination of “Republic” and “Fabric”). Inspired by the image of the “Blue Republic,” we offer clothing that enhances the wearer’s individuality while cherishing the fabric culture Japan takes pride in.
We carefully craft our products at trusted factories throughout Japan, primarily using high-quality denim from Okayama Prefecture. We pursue minimalist yet substantial designs that highlight the fabric’s natural character and texture.
