Born in Kojima, Okayama — one of the world’s most important denim-making regions — MOMOTARO JEANS has become one of the defining names in Japanese denim.
For our first drop, we’ve selected five styles that introduce the world of MOMOTARO: uncompromising denim, unmistakable details, and the kind of Japanese craftsmanship that only gets better with time.
MOMOTARO JEANS was founded in 2006 in Kojima, Okayama, a town with generations of textile knowledge behind it.
Its approach goes far beyond simply making jeans.
From the selection of cotton to dyeing, weaving and sewing, every detail is considered. Vintage shuttle looms and sewing machines remain part of the process, with a single pair of jeans passing through more than 30 stages before it is finished.
The result is denim made not simply to be worn, but to become your own.

Originally inspired by the flag carried into battle in the Japanese folktale of Momotaro, they connect the brand’s origins with the denim it makes today.
